Reporting organisationally to the TEAP Manager, the Rate Card Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Technology team and work in close collaboration with the Technology teams in Mexico, Canada, and Zurich and other key individuals responsible for delivering venue specific technology rate card orders from the stakeholders for the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026 TM (FWC 2026). The role entails coordinating with all relevant parties the planning, implementation, readiness, and payment of all rate card orders for the event technology services pertinent to the tournament of all stadiums.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the rate card manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:  
  • Define the overall Technology Rate Card service delivery, including developing the catalogue of services, defining the ordering process and managing the overall operations
  • Manage the Technology Rate Card for IT products, components, and services offered at stadiums and venues during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
  • Enforce pre-defined pricing structures and facilitate the sales process with international broadcasters, contractors, and partners.
  • Provide clear and timely information about rate card offerings, inventory availability, and packages to contractors and partners.
  • Coordinate with venue teams to ensure all rate card requests are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Serve as the primary contact for rate card inquiries from broadcasters, partners, and contractors.
  • Work closely with the Venue Technology Managers, TEAP Manager, and other internal teams to ensure alignment with venue-specific operational plans.
  • Collaborate with FIFA technology leadership to align rate card offerings with overall goals and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Facilitate the rate card sales process, ensuring clients understand and adhere to pricing structures.
  • Track revenue performance against budget and forecast, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Generate reports on rate card utilization, revenue, and inventory status for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure IT products, components, and services are delivered to clients at venues/stadiums in line with agreed timelines and specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international broadcasters, contractors, and partners to ensure satisfaction with rate card services.
  • Address stakeholders concerns promptly and provide innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
 

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
  • University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years overall IT experience and minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the Sports / major event industry is a must
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT programs and projects
Languages
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
