The Printing Infrastructure Services Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of printing services and related infrastructure prior and during the tournament. This position will focus on coordinating service activities, managing logistics, and ensuring the end-to-end management of printing solutions across all venues and facilities. The role is pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency and aligning with the overall IT and service delivery objectives.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Printing Infrastructure Services Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include but may not be limited to:

  • Manage the entire cycle of printing services, such as collecting requirements, purchasing, setting up, customizing, maintaining, solving problems, and retiring.
  • Collaborate on the allocation of support technology and equipment to ensure seamless integration of printing solutions with other IT services.
  • Gather the specific requirements for end-user devices and ensure they are considered during the design of images and implementation process.
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of printing services to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Work with vendors and service providers to buy hardware, software, and services needed for infrastructure operations within your area of responsibility.
  • Plan and design, together with FIFA Zurich, the images and distribution according to the demand definition.
  • In collaboration with the different functional areas, collect all user specific needs prior to tournament.
  • Make sure asset configuration matches the defined image catalogue.
  • Organize staging and testing of the end-user devices.
  • Track the implementation of assets management process and guide suppliers on following the process.
  • Coordinate with FIFA Zurich to ensure the timely and smooth delivery of assets based on standardized processes and images.
 

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
  • University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience and minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the Sports / major event industry is desirable
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT projects
  • Technical background as Microsoft System Administrator or similar
Languages
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Technology
  • Extensive experience with printer management solutions, such as Printix or similar platforms, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on expertise in printer management technologies and their integration with IT systems.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of endpoint management solutions such as Intune and/or SCCM.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID for effective identity and access management.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting Windows 11 environments, resolving performance, compliance, and configuration challenges effectively.
