Reporting organisationally to the Director, Brand & Marketing, the Content Production Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Marketing Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Project team and other key individuals responsible for delivering  best-in-class design solutions for the FWC26. 

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Content Production Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:  
  • Managing a high volume of video edits and requests to capture content for the largest tournaments in the world.
  • Storytelling visionary that brings perspective to each visual piece to deliver error-free final product.
  • Collaborating with the creative team to plan shot lists, location scouting, and necessary equipment based on the project needs. 
  • Setting up and operating cameras to capture various angles and perspectives, ensuring proper lighting and framing. 
  • Capturing high-quality audio using microphones and sound recording techniques. 
  • Adapting to unexpected situations during filming and making adjustments to capture the best footage and adapting to short notices. 
  • Importing, organizing and managing raw footage in a structured way for efficient editing based on deliverable needs and stakeholder feedback,
  • Review all footage necessary to choose the most impactful clips for videos to help tell the story and goals of each project.
  • Adjusting color profiles to achieve a consistent visual aesthetic across the video. 
  • Cleaning up audio, adding music, sound effects, and voiceovers provided by team and as needed.
  • Incorporating visual elements like titles, lower thirds, and animations to enhance the video 
  • Reviewing the final edit to ensure consistency and high production value. 
  • Understanding the project vision and incorporating feedback from directors, producers, and clients throughout the process.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in creating work of outstanding video standards, for high end brands, sports teams, and large advertising campaigns
  • Strong client management skills and sports background advantageous
  • Digital savvy with experience in social & digital marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated excellent editing skills – both conceptual and executional
  • Brand storytelling experience
  • Experience in entertainment, motion and sport advantageous
  • International or experience working in organizations with international offices/staff
  • Mid-level management experience
