Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Event Management
- Serve as primary event manager, responsible for all logistical elements of assigned events which include both Enterprise Events (Filming, Runs and walks, Private events, Community events, and Food Festivals) and Major Events (Soccer, Concerts, Festivals, and College Football).
- Develop collaborative relationships with clients, tenants, and other third-party coordinators with a solutions-oriented mindset and high regard for providing exceptional customer service toward production of first-class events.
- Develop and/or refine and implement event planning documents and materials to be used by internal and external constituents for efficient and effective preparation and execution of events.
- Assist in the negotiation, execution and monitoring of contract agreements for assigned events.
- Work with RBOC, City, and contracted staff and vendors to provide a positive event experience for all constituents that matches the highest standards of safety and service for all; obtain all necessary permits and event approvals.
- Coordinate, prepare for, and conduct various pre-event planning and post-event recap meetings; attend meetings organized by others, as necessary.
- Ensure safe environments for all constituents by reviewing venue setup plans with the appropriate internal staff and public safety personnel.
Event Administration
- Assist the Executive Director – Events in providing leadership and support to Event Managers, Event Coordinators, and Event Assistants on staff.
- In collaboration with the Executive Director – Events, manage the process of assigning enterprise events to the Event Managers, Event Coordinators, and Event Assistants.
- Responsible for all aspects of the event purchasing process which includes obtaining quotes, issuing work orders and notices to proceed, and purchase requisitions.
- Track event expenditures and ensure proper invoicing, provision of supporting documentation, and collection of outstanding open invoices; provide timely preparation of event financial recaps.
- Maintain the RBOC event calendar and disseminate information to stakeholders.

Education and experience:
- College education or equivalent
- Five to ten years’ experience in sports entertainment and/or venue event management
Licenses and Certifications:
- Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Pay Range: $73,373 – $113,728
The base pay range for this position may vary depending upon a number of factors including the individual candidates’ experience, qualifications, skills and competencies. This base pay is part of an overall package that is designed to compensate and recognize employees for their work and achievements. This position may be eligible for additional bonuses and commission incentives.
