Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Sales Manager to lead our catering sales efforts and drive business growth. As the Catering Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing the successful planning and execution of catering events. Your responsibilities will encompass both sales and operational aspects of our catering services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective catering sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients for corporate events, weddings, parties, and other special occasions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, venues, and other stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, provide detailed proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with clients to customize menus, event logistics, and services based on their preferences and requirements.
  • Work closely with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of catering events, adhering to high-quality standards.
  • Manage the end-to-end event planning process, including menu selection, logistics coordination, staffing, and on-site management.
  • Track and report on catering sales metrics, such as leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our catering services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in catering sales, with experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey value propositions and close sales.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously.
  • Experience in event planning and logistics coordination to ensure flawless execution of catering services.
  • Knowledge of culinary offerings and menu customization to meet diverse client preferences.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
