Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Caterer to join our team. The Caterer will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering exceptional food and beverage services for various events and occasions. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, including menu preferences, dietary restrictions, and budget constraints.

- Plan and create customized menus based on client preferences and event specifications.

- Source and select high-quality ingredients and supplies.

- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards.

- Coordinate with serving staff to ensure seamless execution of events.

- Set up and decorate event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary items.

- Monitor food and beverage inventory levels, and place orders as needed.

- Manage kitchen operations, including equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and organization.

- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and special requests.

- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

- Evaluate event success and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a caterer or chef in a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food presentation, and menu planning.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Food safety certification is preferred.
