Studio Event Staffing – Upcoming Events in the Tri-State Area

Studio Event Staffing is hiring Prep Cooks to support our culinary team for upcoming weddings, banquets, and private events. Prep Cooks are the backbone of the kitchen, ensuring chefs and line cooks have everything ready for smooth and successful service.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and event menus

• Assist chefs with mise en place and food prep before service

• Properly store and label food items to maintain freshness and safety standards

• Maintain a clean and organized prep station throughout shifts

• Support with kitchen setup and breakdown for events

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year prep cook, kitchen assistant, or culinary experience (catering/banquet experience preferred)

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Must have valid documents to work in the U.S.

? Schedule: Event-based, flexible shifts (mostly evenings & weekends)
